WE ARE A GROUP OF YOUNG ARTISTS BASED IN LONDON WHO COME FROM DIVERSE BACKGROUNDS AND COUNTRIES. WE SHARE A COMMON VALUE OF ECOLOGICAL ART AND EXPLORE THE SYMBIOTIC RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN DIGITAL AND PHYSICAL ART. OUR FOCUS IS ON SUSTAINABLE PRACTICES AND REDEFINING USED OBJECTS INTO CONTEMPORARY ART. WE ARE ALSO INTERESTED IN ADAPTING ART TO COEXIST WITH THE GROWING TECHNOLOGICAL ENVIRONMENT. OUR EXHIBITS RANGE FROM SMALL PAINTINGS TO LARGE SCULPTURAL INSTALLATIONS, ACCOMPANIED BY A SOUNDSCAPE. SEVERAL ARTISTS EXPLORE TRADITIONAL MEANS OF MAKING BUT EXECUTING IN A MODERN MANNER. ALTHOUGH THE WORKS HAVE VARYING IDENTITIES AND NARRATIVES, THERE IS COHESION AMONG THEM WITH AN UNDERLYING DIALOGUE AROUND MODERN ECOLOGY.
Group statement
“We are proud to announce that we are sponsoring the Modern Materials Exhibition, hosted by the final year students at the University of Hertfordshire.

The students and artists are coming together as collective with a shared value of ecological art and how there is a symbiotic narrative between digital and physical art. Their focus is on sustainable practice, reducing waste, recycling, and redefining used objects into contemporary art, and finding ways for art to adapt and coexist with the growing technological environment.

We were delighted to show the artists around the Re-use shop and the EcoPark in May. The partnership will allow LEL to showcase to a wider audience all our work on reuse, sustainability and collaborating with upcoming artists.”
